This book covers non-Luftwaffe airplanes, with a chapter of varying length dedicated at each model. Don't expect a history of the type, be it development or operational, as Captain Brown goes straight to the point of "test-flying" the respective aircraft model for the benefit of the reader. Accordingly, for example you will get to know at which particular speed the Spiteful's laminar flow wing stalled, into which direction it dropped when stalling, etc. While this may not be very interesting information to some, it does give a very good insight into the flying behavior of these many very different aircraft types that are long gone, and as such is an invaluable historic record.
