Illustrated with a variety of contemporary bw photographs and colour vehicle profiles by Mark Rolfe, this publication depicts the German and American armoured vehicles on the Normandy Front in the summer of 1944. The photographs, in conjunction with the accurate colour profiles and textual detail, provide an accurate picture of the vehicle paint and markings used on both sides. In addition, the military events on the Normandy front during the aforementioned period are briefly explained.
