Volume 110 of the "Warpaint Series". The 1957 Defence Review and subsequent British aircraft industry overhaul resulted in all the smaller helicopter companies - Bristol, Fairey and Saunder-Roe being absorbed by Westland. These acquisitions brought existing models with them but in practice it was only the Saunders-Rie P531 which serviced to become a successful production model. Developed as the Scout for the Army and Wasp for the Royal Navy.
