Special issue 29 of the series "Tradition Magazin. uniformes - armes - collections" deals with the medical service of the French army in the period from 1792 to 1815. In addition to the chronological presentation, special attention is given to the medical service of the Guard, outstanding personalities are introduced and the uniforms of the medics and doctors are described. The booklet also contains explanations of the organisation of the medical service and a lexical section explaining important terms.
