This edition is the condensed and slightly abridged account of the two volumes Prussia against Napoleon (article nos. 5/11215 and 5/11217). Based on memoirs by Prussian soldiers, the work describes the period from 1806 to 1815, with contemporary witnesses recalling the battles of Jena and Auerstedt in 1806 up to the Peace of Tilsit in 1807, the campaigns of 1813 up to the capture of Paris in 1814, and finally the decisive triumph at Waterloo, or rather, from the Prussian point of view, at Belle Alliance in 1815.
