Our series shows Cossacks sneaking up on foot, riding up fighting with lance, sabre and pistol. Peasants and partisans on the attack armed with axes, pitchforks, spears and clubs complete the series. Since armament and appearance hardly changed over centuries, this series is also applicable to the Seven Years' War with minor changes.

Crossing the Berezina,
The Battle of the Berezina is the name given to the fighting during the retreat of Napoleon's Grande Armée from the troops of Tsar Alexander I across the Berezina (now Belorussian Bjaresina) from 26 to 28 November 1812. This battle was the last in the Russian campaign of 1812 before the withdrawal of the French army across the Niemen on 14 December 1812.
