Second volume of the detailed study of the half-track vehicles of the Israeli army and border police. A large number of b/w photos show the individual vehicles and their countless variants during training runs, in combat and as museum pieces. In many cases, the viewer even gets a glimpse inside the vehicles. The whole spectrum of their wide range of use, from simple troop carriers to bases for various weapon systems to command vehicles, is covered. Volume 2 shows the half-track vehicles from 1960 to the present, but concentrates on the Six-Day War of 1967, the Yom Kippur War of 1973 and the Lebanon War of 1982. Also included are chapters on the M3 reconnaissance vehicle, the French AML-90 armoured car and the BTR-152, a wheeled armoured vehicle that was widely used by the Israelis as an Israeli booty vehicle.
