Volume 20 of the series "Imágenes de Guerra" describes in words and pictures the deployment of the I. and II. The 1st SS Panzer Division "Leibstandarte", the 2nd SS Panzer Division "Das Reich" and the 3rd SS Panzer Division "Totenkopf", among others, took part in the great battle around the front arc near Kursk in the summer of 1943. Their deployment in the northern and southern sections of the Kursk Arc, which had been chosen for strangulation, is shown in this work.
Furthermore, the work describes the armoured vehicles used by the Waffen-SS in this phase of the war as well as the uniforms and equipment of the Waffen-SS soldiers in the summer of 1943.
