The first volume of the new book series "Der Tiger" uses images taken by photographers of the Propaganda companies and private photographs by members of the Abteilung, arranged by timeline, place and sequence, to show the "Tiger" in the field, under maintenance, and after action.

Content: Formation in May 1942 - send to Tunisia (North Africa) at the end of November 1942; Reestablishment in September/October 1943 - despatched to the Eastern Front December 1943; Revitalisation and re-equipment with Tiger II - moved to Poland in August 44 and the Reich.
