The most successful night fighter of all time. This is the story of Major Heinz-Wolfgang Schnaufer. Born on 16 February 1922 in Calw/Württemberg, he joined the Luftwaffe in the spring of 1941 as an officer candidate and, after basic flying training and several special courses, joined the Nachtjägerwaffe in the spring of 1942. By the end of World War II, Major Schnaufer had achieved a total of 121 confirmed kills. With approx. 100 illustrations. 160 pages.
