Thought-provoking impulses for a reduced leadership process in a complex environment.
In the face of many simultaneously occurring crises, the question of what leadership is and how it can be improved is becoming increasingly important. The authors of this book present a model according to which officers of the Austrian Armed Forces are trained at the Theresian Military Academy. Their description of teaching methods in tactical training is based on fundamental considerations about the image of man and war, the relationship between science and art, and the effects of new technologies on the leadership process. The aim of this book is to provide military and civilian leaders with a toolbox that enables them to lead efficiently and effectively in complex situations.
