Description
Volume 6 of the Battlefield series. The Battle of Agincourt in October 1415 is undeniably one of the highlights of the Hundred Years' War between England and France. In the second part about this much-noted encounter, the first two chapters deal with the equipment, armament and organisation of the mounted troops as well as the infantry and artillery, with a special focus on the crossbowmen and archers. The third chapter is then devoted to the course of the battle, with the French attack on the English army camp and the killing of the French prisoners ordered by Henry V of England forming a central focus.
