Urbanke, A. Endkampf um das Reichsgebiet 1944-45 - Ostfront

This large-format illustrated book represents the first hardbound book publication by Luftfahrtverlag-Start. On approx. 160 pages, the fight of the German army units around the Reich's border is documented by unique and never before shown photographic material. The approx. 186 photos, 23 of which are in colour, are exclusively operational photos from the German side and not Allied post-war photos. The majority of the photographs were taken by German soldiers during the final battles and thus represent unique picture documents from a time when hardly any film material was available and photographs were rarely taken. The black-and-white photos are supplemented by three rare colour photographs, which were also taken during the fighting. The photographic material, which is supplemented by extensive and detailed texts and maps, is printed in the best possible quality on high-quality art paper.
