Part 1: At 16 with the heavy flak in Berlin, at 17 with the artillery on the Oder Front and in the Halbe Cauldron; Part 2: Memories of Camp 3/10 of the RAD Female Youth in Karkelbeck/East Prussia 1942/1943.
Part 1, the bequest of Ulrich K. contains photos, field mail, documents and the personal war diary from January to August 1945. His duty stations as an air force helper were the 2nd battery of the heavy anti-aircraft division 662 in Berlin with the locations Messeberg and Großbatterie Biesdorf. He also served in the searchlight batteries in Seddin and Mahlsdorf. This was followed by RAD service in Argenthal/East Prussia and in Wolfau/Lower Silesia. Basic training took place in the Wehrmacht in Neuruppin with the light artillery replacement and training division (mot.) 75, after mobilisation of the unit in March 1945 then the transfer to the Oder front and retreat fights through the Halbe cauldron to the Elbe. This is documented in the personal war diary. Part 2 contains memories and a photo album by Lilli Robbert about her 1-year service with the RAD Female Youth 1942/43 in Karkelbeck/East Prussia.
