2 x Medieval & Fantasy Heads/Cloaks
2 x Medieval Barded Horses
2 x Medieval Knights
Allowing you create a huge variety of different knights including Medieval Knights, Teutonic Knights, or Fantasy knights.
If its Teutonics you are after...
The Teutonic knights evolved in 1190 from a hospital established by German merchants for German pilgrims during the siege of Acre.
They became a military organisation in 1198 and they only included German knights. Their full title was Teutonic knights of the hospital of St Mary of Jerusalem.
The Knights were commanded by the Hochmeister or Grand Master, and they saw action in Palestine and Armenia.
However their most famous exploits were in fighting the Pagan tribes of Eastern Europe and the Baltic coast.
They waged a relentless and bloody war against the Prussian tribes from 1230 to 1288. Fighting through swamps, marshes, forests and frozen wastes they earned a reputation for ferocity and mercilessness. The territory they carved out became what is known as the Ordensstaat, ruled over by the Hochmeister with Papal blessing.
Kitted out in full mail, lance, sword, shield, cloak and some extraordinary helmets! The Teutonic Knight was a fearsome warrior.
This set contains 12 fantastically detailed miniatures with a huge array of helmet and cloak options. There are helmets with ornate horns and wings and some plainer styles without decoration so the choice is yours.
