Parade uniform 2nd Hussar Regiment, dismounted, Prussia, 1756 Hans Joachim von Zieten, called Zieten aus dem Busch (* 14 May 1699 in Wustrau; 27 January 1786 in Berlin), was a Prussian general of cavalry under Frederick the Great. He fought in the Silesian Wars and was victorious at the Battle of Hohenfriedberg. Zieten was one of the most important commanders of his time.
