Call in fire support for your Soviet Naval Brigade!
Soviet forces, including the Naval Brigades, benefited from enormous amounts of indirect fire support from the 'god of war' - their long-range artillery. With truly stunning numbers of gun and rocket batteries on hand, the Red Army could call down a rain of fire to support their advances or prevent enemy breakthroughs. Similarly, they enjoyed excellent close air support, courtesy of the legendary IL-2 'Sturmovik', a truly lethal aircraft designed exclusively for low-level strikes. All this firepower needs someone to direct it onto its target, though - enter the Forward Observer Team. Two men armed with the most dangerous weapons of all, binoculars and radio, this small team gives any Soviet Rifle Platoon a seriously heavy punch on the Bolt Action tabletop.
Miniature sculpted by Wojtek Flis. Studio miniatures painted by Andres Amian.
Models supplied unassembled and unpainted
