The Leopard 1A5 is an improved version of the German Leopard 1 main battle tank, which was introduced in the late 1980s. Despite retaining the original 105mm L7A3 cannon, the 1A5 received improved ammunition options, keeping it competitive for its time. Additional armour improvements and interior updates increased crew protection and efficiency.
