Description
Exact color to paint Zimmerit, the protective coating added onto some German tanks to protect them against anti-tank mines during World War II. This color has been matched to a sample of Zimmerit paste mixed according to the original wartime formula, ensuring an accurate and definitive representation of this curious material.
This color has also been contrasted with remains of original Zimmerit material taken from German WWII vehicles preserved in the Saumur museum´s collection in order to compare the tones and the effects of aging. The authentic Zimmerit color available to you for the first time; this is not just another color, it is an authentic piece of history.
Each bottle features a steel agitator to facilitate thorough mixing of the paint and must be shaken before each use. Each color is water soluble, odorless, and non-toxic. We recommend A.MIG-2000 Acrylic Thinner for proper dilution. Dries completely in 24 hours.
