Description
Last months of WW2 brought a variety of German panzer camouflages - a result of paints shortages (and their decreasing quality), "recycling" of parts from damaged vehicles and use of pieces straight from the assembly line. The most commonly used colours included: Dunkelgelb aus 1944 (RAL7028), Resedagrün (RAL6011) and Rotbraun (RAL8012).
In order to achieve a realistic panel lighting effect on 1945 German vehicles one should start with airbrushing an overall base coat of HTK-A178 1945 Dunkelgelb Base and then apply HTK-A179 1945 Dunkelgelb Flash for fading (lighting) effect. Using the same technique camouflage patterns of green HTK-A180 1945 Resedagrün Base / HTK-A181 1945 Resedagrün Flash and brown HTK-A182 1945 Rotbraun Base / HTK-A183 1945 Rotbraun Flash should be applied.
