We recommend the following adhesives for balsa wood
Balsa is an exceptionally fast-growing, evergreen deciduous tree that prefers lower coastal areas. It is found across large parts of tropical South and Central America. Almost the entire global demand for balsa wood is met by Ecuador. The balsa tree grows at an enormous rate. After just two years, it reaches a height of four to six metres, making it the first choice for use in existing clearings. It reaches maturity after five years, when the balsa tree is about 22 metres tall. As early as the 16th century, balsa wood was the preferred raw material for shipbuilding in South America. Our balsa wood comes from ecologically managed plantations and is guided by the principle of sustainable cultivation. Available in various thicknesses with rectangular and square profiles.
