The Russian "Pantsir-S1" air defence missile and cannon system is used to protect military and civilian targets at close range. It can combat enemy aircraft, missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) at ranges of up to 20 kilometres. The system is equipped with twelve 57E6E missiles and two 30 mm 2A38M cannons. Targets are detected using a phased array radar, which can reliably track targets even in the event of heavy interference.
