For best results, allow your groundwork material to partially cure before use so it is no longer overly tacky. Lightly dampening the surface of putty or texture paste with water is recommended. Alternatively, a small amount of petroleum jelly or talcum powder can be applied to the rollers to prevent sticking and avoid lifting or damaging the surface texture when removing them.
