GLUABLE RUBBER TRACKS - PHOTO ETCHED FRET - DECALS FOR 4 VERSIONS - COLORS INSTRUCTION SHEET
The Panzerkampfwagen V Panther was undoubtedly one of the most famous tanks of the Second World War. It was developed as a direct response to the Soviet T-34 and KV-1 tanks, which outclassed the now outdated Panzer III and Panzer IV on the Eastern Front in terms of performance and firepower. Powered by a 700-horsepower Maybach V-12 engine, it was armed with the highly effective high-velocity 75 mm KwK 42 gun, particularly suited for anti-tank use. Thanks to a well-designed layout that optimized protectionthrough the adoption of sloped frontal armormobility, speed, and firepower, the Panther can be considered one of the best tanks of the Second World War. It was employed on all major fronts, from Italy to France to the Eastern Front. The D version was the first to enter operational service on the battlefield.
