With the release of this Airbus A330, Herpa is closing a gap in the series of Lufthansa models in the current livery of the crane airline. The A330 family was an important pillar of the Lufthansa fleet for almost two decades. Slowly but surely, the remaining A330-300s are being replaced by new-generation aircraft such as the Boeing 787 and the Airbus A350. The currently remaining seven aircraft, including the D-AIKS named after the city of Kassel, the youngest of the remaining A330s, are to be transferred to other airlines within the Lufthansa Group, most likely to Discover Airlines and Brussels Airlines.
True-to-scale and true-to-original small model for adult collectors.
