Level was founded in 2017 as a low-cost long-haul airline within IAG, the International Airline Group around British Airways and Iberia. In the same year, it launched transatlantic flights from Barcelona. After a failed expansion into the European short-haul market, the airline is now concentrating again on routes to North and South America from its base in Barcelona. Five A330-200s are currently in operation, with a sixth aircraft to be added shortly.
