Lime Green was the last "solid" color created by the agency Harper & Green for Braniff, introduced in September 1967. Only one BAC 1-11, one DC-8, and one Boeing 707 each received the fresh, friendly color, but six Boeing 727s did. One of these trijets, with the registration N300BN, is also the model for this limited-edition 1:500 scale model. Delivered to Braniff in 1969, it remained in the Texas airline's fleet until 1982.
