The Junkers F13 was the world's first all-metal aircraft designed specifically for air transport. Between 1922 and 1925, the Polish airline "Aerolloyd" S.A. bought 12 aircraft of this type, and in the following years "Aerolot" expanded its fleet by another four aircraft. This 4-seater aircraft flew at a top speed of 170 km/h and had a range of around 600-700 kilometres. In the early 1930s, these aircraft were still active with Aerolot's successor, LOT Polish Airlines, proving their robust and reliable design.
