2nd Boer War (South Africa)
Beautiful special figures, neatly engraved groups and 2 wagons convey the typical impression of a Boer camp and union square. The set also includes ox teams and accessories. Usable for many colonial conflicts and WW1. (formerly Sandow/Schulze-Berlin, Ochsengespann: Beck.)
The Second Boer War (also South African War; English also Second Anglo Boer War, "Second Anglo-Boer War", Afrikaans: Tweede Vryheidsoorlog, "Second War of Freedom") from 1899 to 1902 was a conflict between Great Britain and the Boer republics of the Orange Free State and the South African Republic (Transvaal), which ended with their incorporation into the British Empire. The causes were, on the one hand, Great Britain's striving for the mineral resources of the region and for a territorially closed colonial empire in Africa and, on the other hand, the xenophobic legislation of the Boer republics. -Wikipedia-
