Description
About 1921, height 7 cm.
Lanz Bulldog was the sales name for farm tractors manufactured by Heinrich Lanz AG in Mannheim from 1921 to 1957. These tractors coined the name Bulldog as a colloquial generic name for an agricultural tractor.
The name was derived from the appearance of the first Bulldog engines, as these bore a resemblance to the face of a bulldog. In 1921, the first crude oil tractor HL12 was presented at the DLG in Leipzig. It is considered the original Bulldog.
