The series shows the final phase of the plundering: the prisoners are presented to the legate (commander) while a tribune supervises the collection of the booty. A centurion drives the last stragglers, who round up the remaining prisoners or quickly drag in a few pieces of booty. Some legionaries with torches are already burning down the village.
