The simple Palaeolithic man hunted his prey at great risk with the most primitive weapons. The universal tool of the time, the stone hand axe, was just as simple and could be used for all kinds of work. Using large stones, the hunters try to kill the cornered small hippopotamus. It was better to avoid the prehistoric cave lion. Here, the clan uses stones and spears (simple sharpened wooden sticks) to defend their bare skin against the dangerous predator.
