Casting metal recommendation: Pure pewter: very bright castings (+), but not so optimal casting properties (-). The casting temperature is approx. 290° C. (+/-). Expressly recommended for utensils that can come into contact with food (plates, cups, etc.). You should also follow this advice if the objects are only intended for decoration.
