Very rare casting moulds from the Offizin Moritz Bernhard Börning (1814-1901)/ Dresden, later Lehmann (Meissen). Engraved by C.F. Wilke (1853-1897). All in North German size: 33 mm (like Rieche, Wegmann, DuBois).
9 castable slate moulds (engraved 1860) with traces corresponding to age. 10 figures: officers, trumpeters, flag bearers and enlisted men in action. All in tartan! Rarity, very well preserved. Four moulds contain the engraving date 1860.
Pictured figures are for showing the casts and not included. We have cast all the moulds once for trial (with our pewter figure alloy 1 -order no. 304/14-.). These old moulds are easy to cast with pleasure, because they have been cast thousands of times in the past!
