Anti-tank gun with 99 parts. Length built 146 mm. The first combat use of this 57 mm gun by British forces in North Africa in 1941 demonstrated the great success of the weapon. With a high rate of fire of 15 rounds per minute, the 6-pounder easily penetrated the armour of any German tank. Even heavy tanks such as the Tiger I, which came onto the market in the second half of 1942, were not safe from the Mk.II.
