This is a supplementary volume to Volume 13 of the "Battle of Britain Combat Archive" series. This supplement was necessary because all the material on the eventful and momentous 15th September 1940 would have been beyond the scope of the 13th volume. On that day, the RAF scored no less than 185 aerial victories against the German Luftwaffe, and the listing and description of these kills alone would have filled the entire Volume 13.
However, in order to provide readers with all the important information on the air battles over Britain on 15 September 1940, this supplement is now published.
