This comprehensive illustrated book shows rare photographs of Tiger tanks (Tiger I, Tiger II, Sturmtiger, Jagdtiger) in action during World War II. The short captions inform about the type and variant of Tiger, to which unit the Tiger tank shown in the respective photo belongs and when and where the photo was taken. In addition, the heavy tank divisions 502 and 503, the 4th and the 13th heavy SS tank regiment 1 of the "LSSAH" and the heavy SS tank division 101 of the "LSSAH" are presented at different times on organisation charts. On the basis of these organigrams one can see which types of tanks the unit had at a certain time, which numbers the individual tanks had and, in various cases, who the commander of the tank was.
