The focus is on the further development of the Fw 190. Versions of the Fw 190 F were designed for use as heavily armoured fighter aircraft. The Fw 190 A-4/U3 was the first to be used as a fast fighter-bomber. The Fw 190 F-2 entered series production at the end of April 1943, and the Fw 190 F-3 in mid-June 1943. Versions of the Fw 190 G were designed as fighter-bombers with extended range. The mentioned Fw 190 variants are all described in detail.
