This work disproves the legend of the uniformly green Soviet tank. Many original photos from recently opened archives in Eastern European countries show a variety of Russian camouflage schemes, e.g.: A T-34 with special snow camouflage - white with naturalistically painted dark tyre tread marks; or a truck with a kind of "apple mould" pattern or a T-26 with narrow wavy vertical camouflage stripes in ochre on a two-tone dark ochre/brown background, and many more.With additional text explanations also about the tactical signs as well as the painted propaganda slogans and dedications that were so characteristic of Soviet tanks.
