Group in the East, the retreat and the end in Africa, the fight against the invasion of Sicily, the fight for Dodecanese, the last operations in the Eastern Mediterranean, the operations against the landings at Anzio and Nettuno and in Central Italy, the fight against the invasion of Normandy and the Second Battle for France, the operations for the Battle of the Bulge in the West as well as against the Oder bridges and extend to the last days of the war and the disbandment of Lehrgeschwader 1 in May 1945.
