A reprint set in two volumes: On the one hand the classic by F.Dettmann "Mein Freund Marseille" with some b/w photos and the colour photo album by E. Neumann "JG 27" (brochure). "My Friend Marseille" describes the life and work of the "Star of Africa". The photo book was a personal Christmas present from Commodore Edu Neumann to his soldiers in 1942 and documents the squadron's deployment in Africa in 1941/42 with selected colour photos and drawings.
