Logistics is not everything, but without logistics everything is nothing. This wisdom describes as simply as it does clearly the mission of the supply battalions as an element of the combat brigades of the Bundeswehr. No combat unit is able to hold out for more than 24 hours without the supply of ammunition, fuel, food and other consumables. This booklet deals extensively and in detail with the vehicles and equipment of the Bundeswehr supply battalions. All seven battalions are also presented individually, as well as the structure of a supply company with its vehicle fleet.
