For almost 70 years, American battle tanks were continuously stationed on German soil. After a short interruption of this presence, this issue is intended to give the interested reader an insight into the new concept and the new constellations of heavy American units in the FRG. Furthermore, an overview of the new structure of joint training of NATO partners and friendly nations will be given. The booklet contains many colour photos of current vehicles from various NATO countries, including Germany, the USA and France.
