This booklet documents the history, the formations and especially the vehicle equipment of the paratroopers of the Bundeswehr. Starting with the formation of the 1st Airborne Division in 1956 for national defence within the NATO alliance up to today's Division of Rapid Forces (DSK), the various units of the paratroopers and their airmobile support forces are presented in words and for the most part in unpublished photos.
