The American HEMITT 10-tonne trucks have been providing reliable service to many U.S. Army units worldwide since the 1980s. Since the M977 flatbed variant, numerous special versions have been introduced and modernisation measures carried out. This publication describes the historical and technical development of the HEMITT family and presents the M977 to M1120 variants, including sub-versions, for the first time in detail in words and pictures.
