For the construction of models cotton swabs are used for painting or decorating.
With commercially available cotton swabs dissolve very quickly the cotton tips or the shape, as they are spun only light / soft. The tips of the TAMIYA cotton swabs are very tight and firmly spun and are ideal for model making and other uses. In the (wet state) the tips remain dimensionally stable.
The range of application of these cotton buds starts as a helper when applying decals, picking up excess paint, painting details, or weathering models.
