The latest 1:350 scale model of the Japanese battleship Yamato depicts her in her last and final action at Okinawa. The original was a motorised kit released in 1979. This was followed by a non-motorised version in 2005, and the current model version is based on the latest information that the model developers at Tamiya were able to find. Elements such as the hull and deck structure have been thoroughly overhauled with the information obtained. Technical details:
