"Saga. Era of Alexander" is the second "Saga" expansion dealing with the ancient world. It describes the many events that shaped the Greek world, from the Persian Wars to the chaotic period of the Diadochian Empires. This expansion contains six factions (Persians, Thracians, Macedonians, Indians, Diadochian empires, Greek city-states) - some of which include several variants - that are related to those from "Saga. Era of Hannibal" and the forthcoming "Saga. Era of the Caesars".
All included factions have their own battle plan, history, legendary units and special rules. In addition to these factions, you will find a large selection of mercenaries in this book, which can supplement your army, as well as new war lists. With them, you can individualise your army by giving units special advantages or delivering sneaky low blows to your opponents. This expansion is rounded off by Diádokhos, an extensive campaign system for "Saga", in which you sit at the head of a Diadochian dynasty and strive to recreate Alexander's empire according to his ideas. "Diádokhos" includes new rules and a magnificent campaign map showing the lands you aspire to conquer.
