The Statue of Liberty is a neoclassical colossal statue near New York, sculpted by Frédéric-Auguste Bartholdi. Located on Liberty Island in New York Harbor, it was inaugurated on 28 October 1886 and is a gift from the people of France to the United States. French La Liberté éclairant le monde.
