Carl Philipp Gottlieb von Clausewitz (* 1 July 1780 as Carl Philipp Gottlieb Clausewitz in Burg; Ä 16 November 1831 in Breslau) was a Prussian major-general, army reformer, militär scientist and ethicist. Also to be used für other Generäle, e.g. Karl Friedrich von dem Knesebeck (* 5 May 1768 in Karwe; Ä 12 January 1848 in Berlin), a Preußische Generalfeldmarschall.
